Results: Seven New Cases of COVID-19
Seven (7) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 907 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, February 21, and tests from additional labs from Friday, February 19 to Sunday, February 21. Five (5) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. *Note: This breakdown includes the 15 cases previously reported by the Joint Information Center since Friday, February 19, 2021.

GHS/OCD, JRM, NBG, and AAFB to Conduct Routine Testing of Advanced Warning Systems

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), Joint Region Marianas (JRM), U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG), and Andersen Air Force Base (AAFB) will conduct routine testing of the vital communication and advance warning system sirens, respectively, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, starting at 3:15 p.m.

 

GHS/OCD will test the nineteen (19) All Hazards Alert Warning System (AHAWS) sirens in conjunction with JRM, NBG, and AAFB monthly routine testing of the “Giant Voice (GV)” sirens.

Results: Four New Cases of COVID-19
Four (4) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 90 tests performed on Saturday, February 20. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,720 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 130 deaths, 62 cases in active isolation, and 7,528 not in active isolation.

Governor Leon Guerrero Secures Additional COVID-19 Vaccines for March Allotment
Following her request to General Gustave Perna, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero has secured additional COVID-19 vaccines for Guam. Early Saturday morning, the head of the White House’s vaccine distribution operation committed to increasing the island’s March allocation, bringing the month’s total to 35,260 vaccines.

Results: Ten New Cases of COVID-19
Ten (10) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 521 tests performed on Thursday, February 18. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing.

To date, there have been a total of 7,715 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 130 deaths, 57 cases in active isolation, and 7,528 not in active isolation.

Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 403 tests performed on Wednesday, February 17. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine.

To date, there have been a total of 7,705 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 130 deaths, 47 cases in active isolation, and 7,528 not in active isolation.

Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 496 tests performed on Tuesday, February 16. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine.

To date, there have been a total of 7,703 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 130 deaths, 50 cases in active isolation, and 7,523 not in active isolation.

Two (2) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 591 tests performed on Monday, February 15. One (1) case was identified through contact tracing.

To date, there have been a total of 7,701 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 130 deaths, 71 cases in active isolation, and 7,500 not in active isolation.

Free COVID-19 Community Testing Thursday, February 18 at Yona Gym
Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS), in collaboration with the Mayors’ Council of Guam (MCOG), Guam National Guard (GUNG), Guam Police Department (GPD), Guam Fire Department (GFD), and other local agencies, will resume COVID-19 community testing on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at the Yona Gym from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
