TD25W (93W) Forms NW of Marshall Islands, Invest 94W to pass Guam Sunday and Monday

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam is monitoring two circulations in our region. Tropical Depression 25W previously Invest 93W currently NorthWest of the Marshall Islands and Invest 94, SouthWest of Chuuk.

Invest 94W is now unlikely to develop into a Tropical Depression and is still projected to pass SouthWest of Guam, tomorrow, Sunday through Monday (Veterans Day).

Projected impacts for 94W are 20-25mph winds with gusts up to 30-35mph. Locally heavy rainfall with 2-4 inches of rain through Monday.

Invest 93W has intensified to Tropical Depression 25W with winds at 35mph. National Weather Service projects TD 25W to possibly intensify to a Tropical Storm and pass through the Marianas Tuesday and Wednesday.

The offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense remind residents to continue to monitor official channels for updates.
