130th COVID-19-Related Fatality Reported
The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 130th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) on February 7, 2021, at approximately 9:15 a.m. The patient was an 18-year-old female with no known medical history. She was admitted to the GMH Emergency Room today and tested positive upon evaluation.

new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 199 tests performed on Friday, February 5. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,643 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 129 deaths, 98 cases in active isolation, and 7,416 not in active isolation.

Results: Fourteen New Cases of COVID-19
Fourteen (14) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 428 tests performed on Thursday, February 4. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. Two (2) cases were identified through contact tracing.

To date, there have been a total of 7,636 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 129 deaths, 91 cases in active isolation and 7,416 not in active isolation.

Four (4)
new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 462 tests performed on Wednesday, February 3. Four (4) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,622 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 129 deaths, 83 cases in active isolation and 7,410 not in active isolation.

NWS Wind Advisory Now in Effect

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam issued a wind advisory for Guam, Rota, Tinian, and Saipan.

East winds of 20 mph to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph are expected through 7 p.m. tonight. Higher elevations of Guam and Saipan will experience the strongest wind gusts.

The Offices of Homeland security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) advise the community to secure outdoor objects, such as canopies, and practice extreme caution while driving. Gusty winds can lift unsecured objects and make driving difficult.

Eight (8) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 553 tests performed on Tuesday, February 2. Six (6) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 

To date, there have been a total of 7,618 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 129 deaths, 82 cases in active isolation and 7,407 not in active isolation.
