Second Booster Dose Vaccination Clinics at Senior Citizens Centers Ongoing

Second doses of the COVID-19 booster are available to adults 50 years of age and older, or to individuals 12 years and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised, at Senior Citizens Centers across the island. All eligible individuals are encouraged to get their second booster shots. Bring your vaccination record card with you to the Senior Citizens Centers.

362nd COVID-19-related Fatality Reported

Today, the Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 362nd COVID-19-related fatality was pronounced dead on arrival at the Guam Regional Medical City on May 19, 2022. The patient was a 55-year-old male, fully vaccinated without a booster, with underlying health conditions, who tested positive on May 20.

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Division of Senior Citizens (DSC), in partnership with the Mayors’ Council of Guam, is now offering second doses of the COVID-19 booster to adults 50 years of age and older, or to individuals 12 years and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised, at Senior Citizens Centers across the island. Three COVID-19-related Fatalities Reported

Today, the Joint Information Center was notified of three COVID-19-related fatalities:

  • The 359th COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on April 1, 2022. The patient was a 70-year-old male, fully vaccinated with one booster, with underlying health conditions, who tested positive on March 31.
