No Immediate Threat Assessed from Reported North Korea Missile Launch

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in conjunction with the Mariana Regional Fusion Center (MRFC), federal and military partners, continue to monitor events surrounding the region including reports of the recent launch of an unidentified projectile out of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) today. 

JIC RELEASE NO. 1023 - Preliminary COVID-19 Test Results: 22 New Cases, 14 Hospitalized; Mangilao mAb Treatment Center to Reopen for One More Week; NRCHC & SRCHC Vaccination Clinics Closed Today

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported a preliminary case count of 22 new cases of COVID-19 from 160 specimens analyzed on April 15, 2022.  To date, there have been a total of 47,725 officially reported cases, 354 deaths, 219 cases in active isolation, and 47,152 not in active isolation.
