JIC RELEASE NO. 129 - Update on Quarantine Facilities; Expanded Testing Continues; Continue to Practice Caution in PCOR 2; DRT COVID-19 Services

To date, there have been 154 cases confirmed through COVID-19 testing provided with 5 deaths and 126 released from isolation. As this is an evolving situation, information is subject to change with little to no notice. The Guam Public Health Laboratory (GPHL) is closed on Sundays. There will be no tests run today. The GPHL will reopen on Monday. Physicians are reminded to follow storage requirements by ensuring specimens are refrigerated at 2-8°C. 
 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 127 - End of Day Results: Zero Test Positive for COVID-19 by DPHSS;Governor Signs Executive Order 2020-15, Disaster Relief Program Extended; DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2020-08

COVID-19 test results are reported from multiple labs at varying times of the day. The cumulative total from all labs will be reported on a nightly basis, unless unavailable. The following breakdown provides cumulative COVID-19 test results for Friday, May 15, 2020:
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 126 - Updated COVID-19 Case Number; COVID-19 Case Count Provided by DPHSS; Factors for Increased Risk of COVID-19; Marine Preserves Remain Closed

As of May 15, 2020, there have been 154 cases of COVID-19 reported on Guam with 5 deaths and 124 recoveries. On May 14, 2020, two new cases of COVID-19 were reported to the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS). Following guidance from the Governor’s Physicians Advisory Group, the case initially removed from the overall count yesterday was re-classified as a probable case.
