JIC Recovery Release No. 65 - RISEUP Last Day to Apply is June 30; Dededo and Tiyan Disaster Debris Sites Closing July 3, Green Waste Site Updates

The U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in coordination with the Office of the Governor, Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Mayor’s Council of Guam, continue the Roofing Installation Support Emergency Utilization Program (RISEUP) to help temporarily repair metal roofs damaged by Typhoon Mawar. To date, 73 roofs have been repaired through the RISEUP Program.
   

JIC Recovery Release No. 61 - Call Center Available to Support Individuals with Disabilities; Hours updated for Typhoon Debris Waste Disposal Sites

The University of Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (Guam CEDDERS) has made available to the public a phone service for individuals with disabilities and/or senior citizens seeking assistance due to damages caused by Typhoon Mawar, by calling 311 and selecting Option 2.
