Residents are reminded to please drive carefully if you’re out on the roads.
From now through 8 a.m., there will be a heavy line of showers and thunderstorms that will pass across Guam and Coastal Waters. This line will bring winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 50 mph. If you are driving, be alert for low visibilities and water covering the road. These showers will cause brief flooding of roads.
Additionally, boaters should be prepared for gust up to 45 knots and near zero visibilities. Seek shelter below deck if lightning is seen or thunder heard.
