Guam remains in Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 as of 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2019, and three Guam Department of Education emergency shelters are open. Mayor’s Offices will remain open throughout the night to provide bus transportation to shelters for residents in need.
Shelters that have been opened as of 7 p.m. include:
- Machananao Elementary School
- B.P. Carbullido Elementary School
- Inarajan Middle School
TRANSPORTATION
Those seeking shelter who do not have reliable transportation, or have a disability and need a ride to a designated storm shelter, are advised to contact their village Mayor’s Office for information on transportation. Residents will need to go to their respective Mayor’s Office for bus transportation to the shelters. Contact information for each village is listed below:
