These troughs are expected to bring occasional showers to Guam and Rota Tuesday night through Thursday. Heavy rainfall does remain a possibility.
Localized flooding remains a possibility in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Residents and visitors are advised to take precautionary actions now by clearing drainage areas and unblocking clogged storm drains in your area to minimize the chance of flooding.
A thunderstorm advisory is in effect for the Guam International Airport until 7 p.m. this evening. Thunderstorms are possible within 20 nautical miles of the airport. Seek shelter if lightning is seen or thunder is heard.
The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind the community to be alert for additional advisories from NWS.
