Earthquake Recorded 

The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.5 that struck 48 km NNW of Dededo Village, Guam, with a depth of 185.8 km, at 10:42 a.m. (ChST).

There were no damages or injuries reported from the nearby earthquake. There is no tsunami threat to the Marianas from the earthquake. 

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind the community that when an earthquake strikes, conduct the earthquake procedure, “Drop, Cover and Hold On” until the shaking stops.
